Below is a video showing the basic codes and conventions that are commonly used in radio broadcasts. I have listened to a wide range of stations and have listed some concepts used such as advertisements, weather, music etc and the affect it has on the listener. It is important that codes and conventions are used for producers and audiences response, this helps determine what the producer needs to include in order to get the correct response. This will help the viewer count for the radio station as the audience will be more intrigued and interested listening to the broadcast.
